Keisha (Kay) Clarke-Sealey

Founder & Executive Director

1.     Marketing Strategist: Kay Sealey is an experienced media planning and investment strategist for Fortune 500 companies at top NYC media agencies, developing high-impact campaigns for major brands.

2.     Artist and Designer: With over 15 years of expertise in graphic design, website design, and fine art, Kay combines her creative talents with business acumen to build meaningful projects that connect with diverse audiences.

3.     Entrepreneur: Founder & Director overseeing growth strategy, digital marketing, partnerships, and operations for a revenue-generating creative services venture.

4.     Operations Facilitator:  Organizes private  programs for schools and public events, combining art and mindfulness to create positive, therapeutic experiences for participants.

5.     Community Advocate: Through her leadership at Paint Your Blessings Foundation, Kay is dedicated to using creativity to celebrate life’s moments and empower her community, offering art therapy and inspirational activities that foster healing and joy.

VP Finance & Risk, 

1.  Financial Risk Professional: Peter is a seasoned finance and risk management professional with extensive experience at MUFG, one of the world’s largest financial institutions, where he has built deep expertise in risk controls, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight.
2.  Strategic Governance Advisor: Peter brings Fortune 500-caliber governance discipline to PYBF’s board — ensuring the Foundation’s finances are managed with transparency, precision, and institutional rigor that positions PYBF for major grant eligibility and institutional credibility.
3.  Real Estate Finance Insight: Peter’s background includes real estate finance experience, positioning him as a key strategic advisor as PYBF plans its long-term vision of acquiring a permanent community arts headquarters in East New York, Brooklyn.
4.  Community Investment Champion: Peter is committed to channeling his professional expertise toward community impact, believing that strong financial governance is the foundation upon which every great nonprofit mission is built, sustained, and scaled.
5.  Excited to Serve with PYBF: Peter is honored to bring his professional expertise to PYBF’s founding board, committed to our mission of healing through  faith foundation but has the financial infrastructure to grow and thrive for generations to come.

Christine Mundell-Chang 

Education Partnerships Advisor, Pro Chair Tem

1.     Experienced Education Professional: With over 27 years at the NYC Department of Education, Christine has held pivotal roles including Secretary to the District Superintendent, Parent Coordinator, and Coordinator of Student Activities.

2.     Entrepreneurial Leader: As the CEO of Brown Sugar Enterprise, Christine has demonstrated her motivation and hard work by building her company from the ground up, showcasing her drive and business acumen.

3.     Passion for the Arts: Christine’s hobbies include singing, dancing, and planning events, reflecting her creative side and love for connecting people through shared passions.

4.     Community Advocate: Christine is passionate about education and deeply committed to helping children and families in her community, using her skills to foster connections and support local initiatives.

Alyssa Abernathy, LMSW, CASAC-T

VP Programs & Clinical Advisor 

1.  Licensed Clinical Social Worker: Alyssa holds a Master of Social Work (LMSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor-Trainee (CASAC-T) designation, bringing clinical credibility and therapeutic expertise that elevates every PYBF program from community wellness to evidence-informed practice.
2.  Mental Health & Recovery Specialist: With specialized training in both mental health and substance use recovery, Alyssa brings a comprehensive clinical lens to PYBF’s healing programs — ensuring they serve Brooklyn’s most vulnerable residents with integrity, compassion, and professional rigor.
3.  Youth & At-Risk Population Expert: Alyssa’s clinical experience with adolescents and at-risk youth is directly applied to PYBF’s Wellness Wednesdays school-based residency, helping design trauma-informed programming that meets young people where they are.
4.  Program Quality Guardian: As VP Programs, Alyssa provides clinical oversight across all PYBF therapeutic programming, ensuring outcomes are measurable, ethical standards are maintained, and grant reporting reflects real community impact.
5.  Excited to Serve with PYBF: Alyssa believes deeply that art and clinical healing belong in the same room — and that PYBF is building something Brooklyn has never had before. She is honored to help ensure that vision is clinically sound, community-centered, and built to last.

Faith Masi

VP Communications, Marketing & Community Partnerships

1.  Senior Marketing Professional: Faith is a Senior Marketing Professional based in New York City with over a decade of experience spanning architecture, contemporary art, and engineering. As a member of the design world for eight years, she has successfully repositioned three brands through strategic storytelling and elevated visual identity.
2.  Business Development Leader: Day-to-day, Faith leads business development initiatives and infrastructure proposals, bringing corporate fundraising expertise and established media relationships that directly strengthen PYBF’s capacity to attract funders, partners, and press.
3.  Community Builder & Tennis Leader: In her free time, Faith plays tennis at NYC public courts and is the co-founder of a 360-member Brooklyn tennis community — built from just 5 friends over two years. That community is the living foundation of PYBF’s forthcoming Paint & Play program.
4.  Purpose-Driven Advocate: Faith is passionate about sustainability, racial equity, and infrastructure — values that align deeply with PYBF’s mission. She also brings Brooklyn political connections that expand the Foundation’s civic reach.
5.  Excited to Serve with PYBF: Faith comes to PYBF with a personal healing story that is the authentic heart of everything she and Kay are building together. She is honored to bring her marketing expertise, her community, and her whole self to this mission.

Carla Avila

Treasurer & Cultural Development Advisor

1.     Funeral Service Professional: Carla Avila currently serves as a Funeral Home Office Assistant and Lady Attendant at Hillebrand Funeral Homes, bringing compassion and care to her role in supporting families during their most challenging moments.

2.     Banking Expertise: With previous experience as a Bank Teller Supervisor at TD Bank, Carla managed bookkeeping and financial operations, demonstrating her strong organizational and leadership skills.

3.     Holistic Enthusiast: Passionate about holistic living, Carla enjoys creating essential oil mixes, practicing self-care, and sharing her love for natural wellness with others.

4.     Faith Mentor: Carla dedicates her time to helping women grow in their faith, using her own journey to inspire others in their spiritual growth and personal empowerment.

5.     Family-Centered Creative: Carla loves spending quality time with her children, engaging in art projects, painting, and participating in family-focused activities. She is excited to contribute to expanding God's kingdom through Paint Your Blessings, helping to inspire and uplift her community.

Geanette LaSaine

Secretary

1.  Administrative Professional: Geanette brings strong organizational and administrative expertise, with a deep foundation in record-keeping, communication management, and operational coordination that directly supports PYBF’s governance structure and board operations.
2.  Community Connector: Deeply rooted in Brooklyn, Geanette has a long history of civic engagement and community building, with established ties to East New York’s network of community leaders, educators, and neighborhood advocates.
3.  Governance Steward: As Secretary, Geanette is committed to ensuring board meetings are conducted with precision, that minutes are accurately recorded, and that PYBF’s governance documentation meets all legal and compliance standards required of a 501(c)(3) public charity.
4.  Faith-Driven Servant Leader: Guided by her faith, Geanette approaches her service to PYBF as a calling — bringing honesty, diligence, and a genuine heart for the Brooklyn families the Foundation serves every day.
5.  Excited to Serve with PYBF: Geanette sees PYBF as a powerful vehicle for healing and community restoration in East New York. She is honored to help steward the Foundation’s historic inaugural year and ensure its foundation is strong, documented, and accountable.

Duana Brooks

Youth Programs Advisor, Member at Large

1.     Early Childhood Educator: Duana Brooks is a dedicated Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher experiences, where she applies her skills in problem-solving, time management, creativity, and planning to nurture young learners.

2.     Creative Enthusiast: Duana enjoys a variety of hobbies, including listening to music, attending theatre events, enjoying poetry, painting, trying new foods, and exploring new experiences, all of which fuel her creativity and love for art.

3.     Community Advocate: With a deep passion for teaching children and giving back, Duana actively supports her community, driven by her faith and her role as a prayer warrior and kingdom ambassador, using her time, talent, and treasure to serve others.

4.     Spiritual Contributor: Duana is passionate about helping the needy, seniors, and children, dedicating herself to making a positive impact in the lives of those who are most vulnerable and in need.

5.     Art as a Sanctuary: Eager to collaborate with Paint Your Blessings Foundation, Duana finds solace and inner peace through painting, which she views as her voice and refuge. Art has been a source of healing for her, helping her unlock her full potential.

Since October 2018, 'Paint Your Blessings' host monthly Paint Night for the community, 6,000 positive paintings in private homes.
